National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) invites applications for recruitment of Project Assistant .

NIMHANS is conducting Walk-in-Selection for the post of “Project
Assistant” on contract basis for the NIMHANS funded project entitled
“Glial Cell response in Brain tumors – Region specific effect of
Craniopharyngioma cyst fluid on hypothalamic glial cells” – under the
guidance of Dr.Manish Benwal, Additional Professor, Department of
Neurosurgery & Principal Investigator, NIMHANS.
Educational Qualification:
M.Sc. or M.Tech/M.Phil degree in any field of science/life
science/physics/biophysics/ chemistry with a good academic record.
Preference will be given to candidates with NET/GATE/JGEEBILS/ICMR
qualification
Additional Experience: Candidates with some experiences of content
writing, proteomics data analysis, western blotting and qPCR are
encouraged to apply
Nature of Work: The project covers data analysis and compilation
of LCMS/MS of Craniopharyngioma cyst fluid. Some experiments of western
blotting, immunocytochemistry and qRT PCR
Duration of the Project : 3 months
Pay Scale: 16,000/- (Consolidated)
