CUET PG 2024, Exam Dates, Timings, Schedule, New Exam Pattern, All update you need to know

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the exam schedule for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG 2024. Candidates who have successfully registered and are preparing for the exam can check the CUET PG exam dates here. According to the official notification, the CUET PG 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted from March 11 to March 28,  2024 at 324 designated centers across the country.

As per the official update, The CUET PG  2024 examination will be conducted for 157 subjects for

4,62,589 unique registered candidates and they will be administered 7,68,389 tests. Candidates were given the option to choose a maximum of 4 Test Papers/subjects.

CUET PG- 2024 : Over 4.6 Lakh Registrations Received, Admit card from March 7, 2024 and Exams from March 11,2024

   Hello,

Total number of 4.6 lakh students have registered for the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG 2024) exam this year, which is a slight increase from last year’s 4.5 lakh application.

This time, out of the 462586 total registrations, 247990 are female candidates, 214587 are male candidates and nine registrations have been done under the third gender category. 

In terms of state-wise registration, Uttar Pradesh topped the list with a total of 99,717 registrations, followed by  Delhi which saw 65,275 registrations, Kerala with 30,462, Bihar with 28,181 registrations and Odisha with 20,873 registrations Telangana with 13060 registrations. 

CUET PG is scheduled to be conducted from March 11, 2024 to March 28, 2024. This time, NTA launched a new website – pgcuet.samarth.ac.in – for CUET PG.

Telangana CPGET 2022 Examination will be held in August

 Hello,

The Telangana State-level Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests (CPGET) 2022 for admissions into various postgraduate, PG diploma and five-year integrated programmes in seven universities will be conducted in August. 

 Telangana State Council of Higher Education announced this at a meeting with Vice Chancellors of six conventional universities here on Saturday.

It was decided that the Osmania University (OU) will conduct the CPGET 2022 for admissions into universities including the OU, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University for the academic year 2022-2023. The notification for the same will be issued by the OU in the second or third week of May.

TS CPGET 2021 results to be declared on Thursday

Osmania University is going to announce the results for the Telangana State Common Post Graduate Entrance tests (TS CPGET) 2021 examination tentatively on october 21, 2021.  The results will be announced after 3:30 pm.

The Results will be announced on the official website tscpget.com. 

The entrance tests for admissions into PG, PG diploma and five year integrated programmes of campus, constituent and affiliated colleges of Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Palamuru, Mahatma Gandhi, Satavahana Universities and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad were conducted during September 18, 21 to 27, and October 4 and 5. 

A total of 78,312 candidates registered of whom 68,836 have appeared for the entrance tests.

TS CPGET 2021 Result To Be Released Soon

Osmania University is soon going to announce the results for the Telangana State Common Post Graduate Entrance tests (TS CPGET) 2021 examination.  

The Results will be announced on the official website tscpget.com. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance exam from September 18 to 27, 2021, can check their results on the official portal, once it is out.

CPGET 2021 is a state-level entrance examination that was held in the last two weeks of September 2021 for candidates who aspired to pursue postgraduate courses in various fields. On the basis of merit, the number of seats available, reservation and document verification, candidates will be given admission to pursue their preferred courses. These include MBA, MSc, MA and offered by Osmania University and other affiliated universities. The remaining formalities will be notified by the authorities after the result declaration.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) clarifies on JNUEE 2021 and CUCET 2021

Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi has clarified through an official notice that it will stick to the existing JNU Entrance Examination for admission in 2020-2021 session until the final decision on CUCET is made.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has issued an official notice clarifying the University’s stand on the JNUEE 2021 and CUCET 2021. Earlier this week, the University made it to the headlines with the decision to conduct their own entrance examination i.e. JNUEE for admission to courses in 2021. In this context, it may be noted that the decision came in while talks are already underway for conducting the Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) for admission to all the 54 Central Universities including JNU.

As per reports, JNU has decided to stick to the existing admission entrance test i.e. JNUEE till the Ministry of Education waves a green flag to the final modalities of CUCET. Reportedly, a seven member Committee was formed earlier to decide on the modalities of the CUCET exam. Once a final decision is taken the National Testing Agency is expected to conduct the exam.

The official notice reads “The Academic Council has resolved to conduct the JNU entrance examination 2020-2021 as per schedule in collaboration with the National Testing Agency (NTA)”. This is because the final decision regarding CUCET is pending. CUCET is being devised with the aim to ensure that students seeking admission to Central Universities on the basis of merit (cut-offs) have a common platform for evaluation of merit.

Banaras Hindu University has declared the results of BHU PET 2020 (Post-graduate Entrance Test) for theory examinations on the official website bhuonline.in. The university has conducted the examinations from August 24 to 31, 2020.

“Counseling for admission to various courses covered under PET-2020 is likely to commence from 08.10.2020 and for UET 2020 from 10.10.2020. Call letters will be issued electronically only. GAT B 2020 Exam Rescheduled for October

The Graduate Aptitude Test - Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2020 entrance examination is rescheduled for 3rd October 2020.

Students who have missed the opportunity to apply can still apply as the application window is available on the official website from August 20 to August 30 for new applications.

Earlier, the examinations was scheduled to take place on 30 June 2020 but later deferred in view of the covid-19 pandemic.

As per the schedule, the CUCET 2020 will be conducted from September 18 to 20, 2020. The entrance examination is held for admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes to central universities across India.

Earlier, the examinations were scheduled to take place in May but were later deferred in view of the covid-19 pandemic.

University of Hyderabad (UoH) Gears up to Conduct Entrance Exams

 Hello,

University of Hyderabad (UoH) gears up to conduct nation wide entrance exams for all post graduate and research programmes from september 24-26.

Over 62,000 candidates seeking admission this year would appear for the entrance exam in 38 centres across the country (in offline mode), the Vice-Chancellor said. The university, he said, plans to complete the admission process and start classes for the new students latest by the first week of November, a press release from UoH said.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released the admit card for postgraduate entrance tests 2020 on its official website.

Candidates who have registered for the BHU PET 2020 can download their admit card online at bhuonline.in.

BHU will be conducting the postgraduate entrance tests 2020 from August 24 to 31, 2020.

Admit Card for the Entrance Tests Scheduled on 24th, 25th and 26th August 2020 has been released. Candidates can download it from the portal. Sun Pharma Drug is Approved for the Covid-19 Clinical Trials

The Sun pharmaceutical industries has reported that it has received approval from the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) to conduct clinical trials involving treatment of covid-19 patients with the drug named as Nafamostat Mesilate. The same drug has been approved in Japan for the treatment of acute symptoms of pancreatitis and disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC).

According to Sun pharmaceuticals Nafamostat has shown promising data against SARS-COV2 virus in in-vitro studies conducted by three independent groups of scientists in Europe, Japan and South Korea.

Researchers from University of Tokyo and Leibniz (Germany) Institute of Primate Research reportedly have demonstrated Nafamostat, dosed in very low concentrations, suppresses a protein (TMPRSS2) that the covid-19 virus uses to enter the human lung cells. Additionally, Scientist with Institu Pasteur in south Korea reportedly compared the antiviral efficacy of Nefamostat and 24 other drugs against SARS-Cov2 in in-vitro studies in human lung epithelial derived cells, finding Nafamostat as most potent drug.
