Applications were invited for post of Research Assistant in DST-SERB Funded Project entitled: “Studies on Ankyrin-Parasite Interactions as a Foothold for Engineering Ankyrins and Ankyrin Motifs as Drug Delivery Agents".
The selected candidates will be appointed purely on temporary basis. Initially for one year that may be extended based on the performance.
Qualifications & Experience: M.Sc Life sciences or related fields with first class. Candidates should have one year research experience in molecular/ cell biology technique and cell culture.
Desirable: Experience in proteomics and malaria culture.
Salary: (As per the norms of the university and funding agency.)

Minimum qualification: M.Sc. degree in any branches of experimental biological sciences and chemical sciences like Life Sciences, Zoology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related fields. The candidate should have good academic record with at least 55% marks throughout career and know molecular biology techniques like SDS-PAGE, immunoblotting, Real-time PCR along with ELISA assays, etc. NET qualification is essential as per funding agency.
The age limit is 28 years as on the time of application (upper age limit relaxable up to five years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, PwBD and female candidates, three years in the case of OBC category.
SALARY: Rs 31000/- + HRA. (as per Govt. & University Guidelines)
